5th School Excellence Award

The Padre Damián SSCC school celebrated on Saturday, April 27th the 5th Excellence AwardA hundred 4th year secondary school students participated. 17 schools, 7 private-funded schools and 10 public high schools throughout Catalonia.

The participants took tests in Catalan, Spanish, English, social studies, mathematics, natural sciences and general culture. The multiple-choice tests were marked immediately and the results were known at 1 pm.

Them winners have been:

  • 1st place Sergio Pérez from INS Lluís Companys
  • 2nd place Daniel Carro from the Arrels School in Barcelona
  • 3rd place Blanca Gómez from the Sant Bonaventura School

We would like to congratulate all the schools that participated. Being able to do that is already a source of pride. We congratulate the three winners and their families and schools. We hope that the prize can serve to give them a boost in their learning by helping them pursue post-compulsory studies or language improvement or any area that may be a personal boost.

At Padre Damián School we believe in the excellence of our students in all aspects that make up our Student Profile and, the academic field is one of them. We want to continue working to make each student excellent in their own respect by enhancing their personal talent.
