La Vuelta al Cole scholarship
Something as simple as giving one back to school it turns for us into a party for all the members of the school.
The little ones are waiting for the older students of the school to accompany them for a spin. The middle school students help each other to put on their bibs and make cheering banners and devise them so that the race is not a competitive race but one of solidarity.
We do all this for the childhood leukemia!
Last December 17, 2021 was the act of delivery of the VIII Research Grant which annually grants the One Hundred Thousand Foundation, this year it was given to Dr. Manel Esteller Badosa, director of the Josep Carreras Anti-Leukemia Research Institute, with the project which carries the title "B-ALL troubling epigenetic dysregulation might represent a new opportunity for therapy".
All groups participating in the foundation were invited to this event. We had the honor of being the representatives of all the boys and girls who run Back to School in schools all over Spain. A small representation of the school's students attended Josep Carreras Leukemia Research Institute to participate in this event and tour the Institute's facilities where we discovered very interesting things about leukemia.
