we are family
This year the students of 2nd year of secondary education We had the pleasure of meeting our schoolmates in person. Sacred Hearts of Miranda de Ebro.
We have carried out a common project with different themes depending on the contents worked on in each community. This project has ended with a trip and visit to each SSCC school in order to know first-hand what has been studied.
Our trip to Miranda has been an incredible experience, how did our students experience it?

The adventure begins. What nerves! A long journey awaits us, but we are very much looking forward to meeting up with our friends from Miranda who came to visit us a few days ago.
The project is interesting. They came to meet Gaudí and we will take a trip back in time to meet El Cid Campeador. I'm curious. What will his school be like? And how will we sleep?
We've arrived! Finally! What a strange feeling. What a beautiful school! They're surrounded by nature. The classmates are arriving. Eager to see them and talk to them. They've prepared some medieval games and a snack for us in the middle of the forest. What a laugh! And then we're going to explore the city of Miranda with our new friends.
Time for bed. Oh my! What a commotion! 83 students together in the school sports center. Poor teachers, may nothing happen to them!

Today we will visit Burgos. We will visit the cathedral and see the famous Flycatcher, we will go to the Museum of Human Evolution and do a gymkhana through the city that will take us to the castle. It was a lot of fun, luckily we didn't get lost.
We are exhausted and eager to go back to school, but happy with the experience. Today we are more tired, we will sleep for sure. It is 12 at night, still with a lot of battery. I don't know where we will get it. Poor teachers, they are already starting to frown and lose their voices.

Time flies so fast. Today we are leaving. We go to church and say a little prayer. We thank you for these days together. They welcomed us very well and we felt very loved. They teach us their motto. Yes, they also have a motto throughout the year that comes from a song just like us. I really like the idea and that we share these initiatives. I realize that they do many things similar to what we do.
We visit Miranda Castle, the Botanical Garden and the city where you can already breathe a medieval atmosphere. The fair begins. What a pity that we are leaving. We go up to the viewpoint. What peace! What beautiful landscapes.
The time to leave is approaching. I'm sad to say goodbye. I wouldn't leave right now. When will I see my friends from Miranda again? Maybe Instagram won't be enough.
We're back. We have a long way to go. I have a lot of time on the bus to think about everything we've experienced these days. It has been a different common project, a new experience that we will surely always remember. A trip with a different perspective, a trip where I have not only learned content but also met new people and had the opportunity to see another Sagrats Cors school.
It has been a very enriching experience, not only for everything we have seen and learned on this trip to the past but also for meeting our classmates from Miranda. During these three days we have been able to see that despite being far away and being a different school, we have many things in common.
We are Sagrats Cors. The school, the teachers and the students have received us very well and we have felt very welcomed and loved at all times. We thank them and, above all, we take away a new and beautiful experience that we will surely remember forever.
Thank you Sacred Hearts!!
We invite you to watch the video summary of the two experiences.
