ACCOMPANY ME: If you help me, I can. When I help you, I learn

At Padre Damián School we firmly believe in creating positive bonds between students. That is why, for some years now, we have been promoting moments in which adults and children share and help each other. An example of this is the Accompany me project.

For us it is very important that children feel at home at school and we are aware of the challenge that it poses, for 3-year-olds, to start P3, to move around school... Thanks to this impulse, they very soon understand that at school, like at home, we are a big family.

Thanks to activities like “Back to school“, the little ones see that they not only have their classmates or course mates and their teachers, but they also have allies… the older students.
They hold their hands, their arms, sing to them, make them smile and manage to create a bond that will give security and confidence to the little one. Together they run for all the children who are fighting leukemia.

The little ones, thanks to the example they receive, learn that in our school the adults take care of the little ones, respect them and help them. So, in the future, they will do the same.
For their part, the older ones continue to cultivate empathy, respect for others and enrich their social skills, finding ways to relate to the little ones.

The proposal arises from the project LET'S GROW TOGETHER, which the school develops to foster relationships between students from different years, enhance the sense of belonging and continue on the path of growth towards excellence.

Without a doubt, everyone wins.
