Creative Students
Our 2nd year high school students, if they put their mind to it, can be very creative. A biology We have worked on the catabolism necessary to obtain energy.
As a final assignment, the students had to do a Mind Map or drawing that includes all the concepts worked on.
They have had to think of images and metaphors that symbolize how our body obtains the energy to live. They have had to convert concepts such as glycolysis, ATP, NADH, mitochondria or pyruvic acid into images.
They have done very well and have shown that they are very creative. They have related obtaining energy with a mobile phone that is being charged with energy, bees collecting honey in the hive, a conveyor chain in a factory or a car race among others.
Once again our older students have surprised us with their great creativity!
