2nd year high school students visit the UAB
By Laura Maldonado
On February 7th, a group of 16 2nd year high school students visited the Autonomous University of Barcelona, UAB, to get to know university life better and also to find out about the degrees offered.
The UAB is one of the public universities in Barcelona, with 93 bachelor's degrees and 127 master's degrees, encompassing all areas of knowledge. It is also closely linked to research and investigation, giving students more opportunities for a professional future.
The visit to the Autonomous University of Barcelona not only served to see the facilities and buildings, but talks were held in each faculty and the student could choose, according to their interests, which talk they wanted to attend.
This visit helped them to find out if they really liked the degrees they wanted to learn about and also to see the university. Therefore, it was a day where they could taste a part of what could be next year when they begin a new and very important stage, the university stage.
