What will the world be like in 2050? We find out in “The zone of hope”

During the second half of October, students in 3rd year of ESO (from the subject of Projects) and 2nd year of Baccalaureate from the Geography group visited the virtual reality exhibition "The zone of hope“. The visit consisted of participating in an immersive experience in which the students were transported to the future, to 2050, and were able to experience firsthand what kind of world awaits us if we do not stop the climate change to which we are subject.

Once this part was over, the students were divided into groups and participated in a gymkhana around the exhibition where they could see the real consequences of climate change in the places they passed through. Finally, each one had the opportunity to make different commitments in order to reduce their impact on the environment.

The experience has been very well appreciated by the students, while at the same time it has helped them to become more aware of climate change and its impact on us and to deepen their knowledge of the subjects involved in the trip.

All those who want to have the opportunity to experience this exhibition until May 2019!
