What are we looking for?

We want our students to build the best version of themselves and successfully consolidate their academic and personal development. A version that they will only achieve by feeling loved, cared for and trusted at school.

How do we get it?

Combining good accompaniment with an academic project based on a hybrid system that combines traditional work in instrumental subjects with project work in the other subjects. We promote autonomy, effort and perseverance as important skills in this educational stage.

How do we work on the profile of the student in Secondary?

At the school we have a student profile detailing all the areas we work with each student so that they develop all their talent and become a person of integrity and committed to their environment. This is how ours works student profile at the Secondary Education stage:

We promote autonomy, initiative and freedom

Learning from each other. In cooperative work in some subjects it allows us to learn from each other. We also carry out joint activities with other courses in which adults and children live together, help each other and create a bond that makes us one big family.

Routines and thinking skills. We encourage the culture of thinking, using routines and skills, and thus make the student's thinking visible.

Solidarity campaigns and activities

The students participate in several solidarity campaigns and activities (“La Vuelta al cole”, Christmas campaigns for Cáritas, solidarity chocolate for Sant Joan de Déu, the Spring Ball for Tondisa Ebale, Mans Unides, etc.) committing to the more needs of their environment and organizing school activities to collaborate with external organizations at school

In the 4th grade of ESO it is taken to complete the Community Service Project, collaborating with entities like Food Bank, Blood Bank, Caritas and various nursing homes.

We work on the spiritual part   

Morning prayer: A space where students reflect and express what they feel and how they feel.

Religion's own project: the subject of religion is studied experientially.

Catechesis and Preparation for Confirmation: the possibility of preparing for Confirmation by participating in Catechesis is offered.

We encourage creativity and innovation

Based on different situations posed by the teacher, the students put their creativity into practice in order to build their own learning.

The optional subjects are a great opportunity to boost students' creativity. Electives like Steam Playing, Science in Action, Sketch Up, TecnoTic, Entrepreneurship, promote multiple intelligences and also seek to stimulate the talent of each student.

Music School: Through the agreement with the Conservatory of the Liceu, students can study the four levels of the Elementary Degree at the same school. A musical study plan is offered with the possibility of obtaining official certifications.

We are a multilingual school

Secondary school students run in English between 7 and 10 hours per week. In addition, they have an exclusive weekly hour of conversation with native teachers. We offer external English certifications from level B2 and C1 throughOxford University. 

We offer several summer courses abroad and facilitate the experience of studying abroad for a term, semester or an entire year.

we offer the french as a second foreign language and the possibility of certifying it with DELF, B1 and B exams2. We participate in an exchange project with a school in Normandy.


Dual high school The Dual Baccalaureate program, which is taken from 3rd ESO to 1st Baccalaureate, allows students to complete their studies with the double Spanish and American degree. They are also given access to further studies in American universities. 

We are a sustainable school

We are part of the "More sustainable schools" program promoted by Barcelona City Council to become a school that is more environmentally friendly and aware of sustainability. We participate in different initiatives that promote education in sustainability, we practice the selective collection of waste and we participate in competitions for schoolchildren on this topic.

Excellence and support

Project of excellence. We bet on excellence to ensure that each student makes the most of their potential. We encourage participation in intercollegiate competitions and external programs in the center that stimulate different talents.

We offer internal scholarships from Year 9 onwards, as well as recognition at the end of the year and awards at the end of Secondary School. We also value the effort and continuous work with an extension of the 10% in the final grade of all subjects.

Interdisciplinary projects. We boost l'multimodal learning and multiple intelligences and we favor the transcendence of the involving project external experts in school so that the projects have a real-life connection. 

Tutorial action. It constitutes a fundamental part of our educational work. It is a question of closely following the learning process of each student in the group. The person who can detect the difficulties i/or learning needs it coordinates with the family in order to accompany, to prevent situations and to achieve the maximum of each student. 

Attention to diversity. The teaching team educates and evaluates taking into account the uniqueness of the students and their specific needs. 

Student participation. The students participate directly in the running of the school through the class councils formed by class delegates, of pastoral, of More Sustainable School, of coexistence and of courtyards Everyone's involvement is essential to feel that we do school together. 

Robotics and programming. The introduction of robotics promotes students' creativity and ingenuity by involving them in their own learning process. 

active science We approach science through learning based on the scientific method with laboratory practices and experimental workshops. We also particularly encourage the scientific vocation in girls who participate in initiatives that aim to motivate the choice of STEAM university degrees among teenage girls.

We develop emotional intelligence

For the integral development of the student, we consider it essential to work on emotional intelligence. That's why we help our students discover what they feel, naming emotions and teaching them how to explain, express and manage their moods.

Through different activities, we make them reflect on their own feelings and share experiences with others.

We also support positive discipline that helps students manage their own emotions, respect and understand the reasons behind rules and resolve conflicts.

Support and integration

Personal support is the distinguishing feature of our school. We educate the heart from the heart and attend to each student individually.

Through the personal growth project, we discover the potential and strengthening the uniqueness of each student self-esteem i self-knowledge of teenagers that allows them to live with a good self-concept of themselves and with confidence in their possibilities.

In addition, we encourage students to form bonds and get to know each other. We carry out twinning between older and younger students with the aim of accompanying each other in personal growth and fostering bonds of belonging.

We promote the participation of students in the operation of the school through class councils made up of class, pastoral, More Sustainable School, coexistence and playground delegates. Everyone's involvement is essential to feel that we do school together. 

We promote healthy and healthy living

The tutorial action is the frame of reference for working on topics that lead students to be aware of the importance of enjoying a healthy life. We work on topics such as drug use prevention and the consequences of alcohol and tobacco use. We also educate our students in the correct use of mobile phones and social networks. We want our students to be well-educated and healthy people and to value everything that will lead them to enjoy healthy habits in the future.

Constant communication

Communication and dissemination of the center's internal information, through the Clickedu Platform and weekly newsletter in order to be able to see and monitor the day to day of the student and the activities that take place throughout the course.

Psychopedagogical team

The psycho-pedagogical team for attention to diversity attends to the different learning rates and needs of the students and performs advisory and follow-up functions. The team is made up of a psychologist, a psychopedagogue and a speech therapist.

Family workshops

Workshops and training are offered to offer tools and support to families in the education and upbringing of children and young people.
