¿Quiénes Somos?, first finalist of Junior Achievement's Catalonia Minicompanies competition

On March 5, the Junior Achievement evaluation committee sent the 20 finalist teams of the VII Catalan Mini-Company Competition to the participating schools. The mini-company ¿Quiénes somos? from Colegi Padre Damián SS. CC. was classified as the first finalist.
Who are we? is a mini-company formed by five entrepreneurial students in their first year of high school: Marina Sisay, Irene García, Inés Calzada, Carlota Rovira and Carla Trallero. The main idea came from the inspiration of the Ikea advertisement last Christmas 2018. Our main objective has been to launch a product with the aim of improving family ties, increasing communication between families and helping to disconnect from technology in order to get closer to our loved ones. To achieve this purpose, we have designed a game with a system of questions that are related to different aspects of each person's life, such as the past, present, work/studies, future and love. With this, we want to create a space where we can disconnect from our mobile phones in order to get to know the people around us more deeply in our daily lives.
Our product is a board game in which inside a cotton bag we find, along with the rules, the necessary material to play. The objective of this game is not to compete to win points but to find spaces for all players to talk, get to know each other and listen to each other to improve the quality of family relationships, while generating different feelings between them.
One of the novelties of our product is the idea of leaving all the players' mobile phones in the bag in order to disconnect from the devices and thus only focus on the game.
One of the parts we sent to the competition is the Video Pitch where our goal was to capture the attention of those who saw it in order to make them reflect and convince them that our product is the solution. In this we put part of the Ikea ad video, which as I said before, has been our source of inspiration.
